Rick Ross and Pharrell Williams have teamed up once again for a brand-new banger.
On Friday, June 27, the MMG bawse dropped his new single "For The Money" produced by Pharrell. The upbeat instrumental gives off tropical vibes that fans around the world will enjoy. Along with the single, Ross also shared the official music video directed by Benny Boom.
“It’s finally official," Ross said in a video he posted earlier this week. "Ricky Rozay this Friday, my new single, produced by Pharrell, for real. We shot the video in Paris, the video world premiere is heavyweight. Pharrell, you always come through for your brother. Much love."
"We dropping a straight international global slapper," he continued. "It’s such an elegant, classy affair. A fly, international record. Y’all know how Ricky Rozay get down. It’s time for this."
Ross and Pharrell have worked together several times over the years. They first joined forces in 2008 on The Neptunes-produced song "Get Down." They reunited four years later on "MMG The World Is Ours" from Rozay's 2012 mixtape Rich Forever and "Presidential" from God Forgives, I Don't.
It's been a busy time for Ross between his recent car and bike show and his other business ventures. As far as the music goes, Ross previously made headlines with his Drake diss track "Champagne Moments." He also hopped on collaborations with his artist Nino Breeze, Consequence, JT Money, Pouya, DJ Premier and Teenear. It's been two years since he dropped his collaborative album with Meek Mill, Too Good To Be True. Is his new song with Pharrell the start of another album rollout? We'll see on Friday.
