The Canadian artists have been teasing their joint album since last year. Drake provided some insight about what to expect from the album after he surprised fans on the final night of PND's "Sorry I'm Outside Tour" back in August. At the time, fans believed the album would arrive in the fall based on what he told the crowd.
“On behalf of me and Party, we’ve been working on something for y’all,” Drake said. "So, you get the summer over with, you do what you need to do. I know all you girls are outside. When it gets a little chilly, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake album will be waiting right there for you.”
Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have joined forces on several songs since the Mississauga native was signed to OVO in 2013. They teamed up on "Over Here" for PND's self-titled debut EP, "Come Thru" from Nothing Was The Same, and "Recognize" in 2014. PND also produced a few songs on Drake's 2015 project If You're Reading This It's Too Late. The duo recently reunited for "Members Only" on Drizzy's For All The Dogs album.
The album will arrive while Drake is on tour in Australia. He just hit the stage for opening night and posted a few shots from his first show down under in nine years. Check out the photos below.
